Science-backed social skills
training

At Common Ground SoCal, we are pioneering the way for connection and confidence in LA and Orange County by offering an evidence-based curriculum for achieving social skills growth. Parents and students are seeing how their lives have changed and communities have expanded as a result of this practical program.

Our team uses the Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®). This highly-effective curriculum provides evidence-based social skills training for adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and anxiety.

Topics include

Developing and maintaining friendship

Using humor appropriately

Entering and exiting conversations

Handling teasing and bullying

Electronic communication

Organizing get-togethers
